Night of Impressive Finishes Cap Off Friday’s One Championship ‘Pursuit of Power’



One Championship hosted another card chock-full of knockouts and finishes on Friday, with former One world title challenger Zebaztian Kadestam scoring an emphatic third round-TKO of Agilan Thani in the night’s main event.

“Agilan [Thani] is tough, he is really tough,” Kadestam said after the fight. “I hurt my hand in the first round and I tried not to think about it. His wrestling was good and he is a tough kid. In the third round, I went back to my hand and it was good, so I said let’s go. I’ve been training hard for a long time, and this was just me flowing. Thank you to the fans in Kuala Lumpur for showing the support.”

One Championship’s “Pursuit of Power” also featured a mix of mixed martial arts fights, muay Thai and kickboxing bouts in front of a packed crowd in Kuala Lumpur. Former Ben Askren opponent and One welterweight title challenger Luis Santos competed elsewhere on the card, losing to Tyler McGuire by judges’ decision.

In the night’s co-main event, Jo Nattawut knocked out Yohan Fairtex Drai in the first round of their Muay Thai OneSuper Series bout.
